Move Quickly To Cut Losses on Poor Business Ventures
The axe is already laid at the root of the trees; every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire (Matthew 3:10)
Success depends on a willingness to take calculated risks, investing time, energy, and money in an effort to earn a reasonable return. But not every enterprise will prosper. When your results do not measure up to your expectations, it may be time to cut your losses and move on to something more promising or profitable. But how do you know when to pull the plug on a venture?
Start by identifying benchmarks for measuring expected results. Monitor your progress and if your plan fails, act quickly. Don’t waste time second-guessing your decisions or moaning about circumstances.
When failure is clear, act decisively and transfer your resources to more fruitful ventures.
Is there any business activity you should cut off at this time?
