Run A Steady Course At Work
Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1)
Keep a steady course in business by choosing three action steps each month that will make the biggest difference toward achieving your long-range plans. Each day, focus on work that advances these goals. Step-by-step, you will stay on track.
One reason for losing focus is plain old fatigue. Effective managers will maintain a healthy balance at work. Like a marathon runner, who holds a steady pace that can be maintained for miles, you must work at a pace that allows time for rest and leisure.
Save time each week for a date with your spouse, time with the kids, and time alone with the Lord. Schedule it in your planner, and keep your commitments. Run a steady course at work and finish well.
When you walk, your steps will not be impeded; and if you run, you will not stumble (Proverbs 4:12).
