When Brandon Roach graduated
from
Portland
Bible
College
,
he could never have even dreamed what God would one day involve him in. Upon completion of PBC,
Brandon
felt called to attend graduate school
at ITI, which he completed three months after the IT doom. Although the job market looked less than
ideal,
Brandon
’s
determination and resolve were great, causing him to send out at least 400
resumes.
Eventually,
Brandon
was offered and accepted a position
with a commercial realty company, who soon after his hiring acquired a web
design company. He had been hired on for
a part time data entry position, but after seeing his abilities and skill set,
was promoted to a position that allowed him to administrate many of their IT and
website tasks.
During this period of his
life, God was continuing to direct
Brandon
’s
steps into business ownership. While
working for the commercial realty company,
Brandon
realized that most local company’s
websites lacked either functionality or the design element.
Brandon
saw the need for a web design business that would create both the functionality
and design element for prospective clients. He also started to realize his interest in business ownership. At this point, God opened the door for Him to
create this much dreamt about venture. His
employers not only released him and committed to using him as a vendor, but
also gave him five accounts to jump start his vision. When CIRV, a development and applications
company, first opened it’s doors in 2001, the hand of God was clearly at work.
CIRV continues to be a
strategic solution for the real estate, mortgage, and niche business industries
looking for custom web software, as
Brandon
had envisioned. Their creations allowed
websites to become effective marketing engines that enhance all sales
strategy. They also specialize in web
development that integrates directly with any business model. The philosophy
behind CIRV is evident through its acronym:
“Creation - Taking what's in the
client's mind and making it work with the web and the business.”
“Innovation - The successful
exploitation of new ideas, bring your creativity to life.”
“Relation - Knowing our clients and
their business, our goal is to be on your inside team for your brand &
website growth.”
“Vision - We always suggest where we
can take your site next; we love seeing what the next challenge can be and
making it work for your website.”
Business with a Purpose has
greatly impacted
Brandon
’s
life in both his work and personal spheres. When he first joined Jim Hargis’s small group
for young entrepreneurs in 2002, he experienced deep friendships which
encouraged him to grow, and still enjoys those close relationships to this
day. In addition to the relationship aspect
of the small group, he has acquired business leads through the group. Last year,
Brandon
was given the opportunity to enhance the
City
Bible
Church
website, as well as the Business
with a Purpose website this year.
Behind every visionary is a
great woman!
Brandon
’s
better half, Jessica, has been a supporter and encourager of
Brandon
’s even before the creation of CIRV,
and they greatly enjoy the time they’re able to spend together. If
Brandon
is not found at work or home, you will most likely find him playing a round of golf
or an intense game of basketball.
Brandon
desires to influence and
shape the business community, and has already made a noteworthy mark through
his creativity and innovation. If you’d
